Forwarding/Relaying issues.  Help needed.
Currently, we host our own e-mail using Exchange through Small Business Server 2003, however, we want to host our e-mail using an Exchange Hosting company using Exchange 2007. For our company, we have the domain, say, a.com and a.us registered. Domain a.com is being served by our 2003 Exchange server and a.us is being served by the Exchange 2007 off-site. I wanted to forward my a.com e-mails to my a.us account, so I set up a user in AD with my a.us e-mail address and went to my Delivery option for my a.com account and set it to forward to the new user that I set up with the a.us e-mail address. The problem is that the e-mails sent to a.com are not being forwarded to a.us. I have set up my MX record for a.us to point to Exchange 2007 in the a.com MX records to point to our Exchange 2003 server as well with no avail. As a side note that I think plays a part in the problem is that everyone behind our Small Business Server 2003 location cannot get out to see any of my a.us domain/subdomain websites as well. Any ideas?

It sounds to me like DNS issues. Is your Exchange Org authoritative over both namepsaces (a.com, a.us)? Do you have authoritative DNS zones defined internally/externally appropriately? i.e. what is the result of: NSLOOKUP set type=MX a.com ???? a.us ???? server ExternalDNS a.com a.us
